This amazing looking piece of electrical history is an unused 1930s Vintage Heliogen Porcelain Aerial Knife Switch Double Pole Double Throw DPDT 9 cm x 5 cm. It comes in its original box, (actually marked SPDT), which is distressed with tears and creasing.
The knife switch is marked:
10A/250V
Heliogen
Made in Germany.
There are a few scuffs and surface blemishes but it's in very good condition for its age.
