Art Nouveau Ruskin Style Dripware Two Handled Vase 

This is an absolutely gorgeous, small, Art Nouveau Ruskin Style Dripware Two Handled Vase. A very unusual eclectic geometric design, with a crenellated top, dripware sides, squares and circles motif, and two handles. They have packed a lot of design into a small kitsch object, which is full of charm, and very tactile.

I haven't been able to find a maker's mark but it probably dates to the early 1900s. A lovely little antique to brighten the kitchen shelf or mantelpiece.

The jug is in pretty good condition for its age with quite a few manufacturing defects, including bubbles and pin holes, and some nibbles to the fluted edges and the base. The item is also crazed.

It reminds me of Shelley or Ruskin in style, and the rustic design really makes me smile :-)

A very cute object for display or use as a bud vase.
